Mr. Arun Gandhi a practising architect in fact his profession doesn’t provide him leisurely time even at night let alone the day. Inspite of this work load he has nourished an extraordinarily hobby. Different from traditional arts. Hobbies, dramatic, his hobby is of collecting stamps, coins & currency notes. Right from his school days he has kept up his hobby throughout 25 years.

His collection of coins and currency notes is such a vistaed, an exhibition could be arranged of the same. During handling different kinds of letters stamps cards stationery, postal stationery he came across the slogans associated with them & that paved way for another hobby of collecting these slogans. Being busy professional, he advises you nesters to inculcate a hobby in themselves.

You will find in his collection different types of coins from olden era upto foreign currencies; notes of very antique & rare varieties & around 6000 stamps from 150 different countries. He has even edited a book called Indian Inland Postal Cards, Letter Cards, Advertisements & Slogans which was displayed in 4th Asian International Philatelic Exhibition held at Netaji Indoor Stadium KolKatta during 7th to 12th December 2000.

He was awarded a silver medal for his collection amongst different such collectors and governments on international level. He was assisted in his hobby by Mr. Surinder Kordia. Let us expect from his now an excellent exhibition and guidance in Mumbai surely, his hobby will flourish in future.
